Scheduled U.S. Economic Data Releases: GDP, pending home sales, the Dallas and Richmond Fed manufacturing indices, the Case Shiller house price index, personal income and spending, the PCE price deflator, the U. Michgan and Conference Board consumer sentiment indices, the Chicago Fed purchasing managers index, and the usual weekly data on jobless insurance claims, consumer comfort, chain store sales, mortgage applications, and energy inventories.
Japanese Statistics: Industrial production, retail sales, real household spending, housing starts, construction orders, unemployment, small business sentiment, corporate service prices, and consumer prices.
Selected Other Asian Data: China’s government-authorized manufacturing and non-manufacturing purchasing manager surveys, corporate proftis, and the current account. South Korean GDP and retail sales.
