Today I was scrolling around YouTube, and I found Sean Stephenson. I had just read a very negative comment on one of my articles with a guy telling me that he can’t overcome his anxiety around women and that nothing I could say would help him.
When I read the comment I wanted to beat my head against a wall. I understand that he really believes that he will never succeed with women, but I also know that he could if he would take the right action towards changing a few things in his life.
I wanted to find a video that would help me explain what I was thinking to him, and while I was watching a video on FinerMinds, I saw a screen image of a guy in a wheelchair that I had to check out.
Turns out he was the person I was looking for to convey my message.

On Twitter, his bio says that he wants to rid the world of insecurity, and after watching a few of his videos today, I can see that he totally has the potential to do that!
Sean has Osteogenesis Imperfecta, which is otherwise known as brittle bone disease. He has been speaking since 1996, and he is a well-known therapist, self-help author, and motivational speaker. He has an amazing sense of humor and is very articulate but down to earth at the same time.
So, if you are insecure around women because of your looks, personality, or anything else, please take the time to listen to Sean. You will see that change is possible and that you can grow into someone different than who you are now.

In the video he talks about his limiting belief and how it made him view woman – and how it affected his relationships with women. This is what I wanted to get at.
The guy who commented about being anxious around women needs to know that his belief right now is holding him back from confronting women, and that he can decide that his belief is not true and start to take action on turning things around.
Sean’s issue was that he felt he would not be enough for women, but that is definitely something that every man would feel when they are anxious, scared, or insecure around women, even without Sean’s disability.
